Comments
The Leopold Community Hub was built to deliver significant community benefits for all ages and to facilitate quality services. The Hub was built in two stages. Stage one saw the construction of the Leopold Child and Family Centre, delivering services for children and families in the Leopold area.
The Leopold Community Hub is made up of two buildings that are connected by an undercover breeze way. The exterior of the Hub is consistent across both buildings. A mix of grey walls, contrasted with bright green features to reflect nature, blending in with the surrounding environment and making an impressive façade.
The Leopold Community Hub is set back from the road and landscaping out the front is designed to create a vibrant public realm, as well as address a predominant entry into the new facility. The Library is located on the ground floor of the south side building with the community facilities on the first floor.
